Today is the day! The #imREDy movement has commenced!
It’s time to affirm, confirm, and (maybe re-learn) that you look great, are great, and you’re beautiful in any color. (If you missed how this started check out the previous post) –> Here

WHAT: Over this past year Black Women haven’t been able to catch a break in the media!Alarming health statistics, articles suggesting how inferior we are to other races or how we‘ll never find a partner – you name it is has been said about us. But that stops here!So, instead of telling Black women that they are not enough, how to diminish themselves, or what not to wear, we present to you theImREDy campaign!What started out as a fun little social experiment among girlfriends to try a new lipstick [without regard to what others thought] has turned into a full blown women’s empowerment initiative.With the holiday season in full swing, we are challenging women to step out of their comfort zone, embrace their beauty and rock the bold red lipstick that makes them feel the most feminine!HOW: During the month of December we are encouraging women to participate in the ImREDy campaign by changing their social network profile pictures to a photo wearing their favorite shade of bold red lipstick! We think women could definitely use this beauty boost!Join the campaign using #ImREDy hashtag on Twitter.WANT TO SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE?
